Implications for Clinical Practice

Notice: Implications for Clinical Practice are the personal views of the authors.

We have limited experiences with the McGrath Video Laryngoscope (MVL) and would currently recommend the use of this device only in environments with normal ambient temperatures and without high-level air-condition. Despite its easy portability and handling, the MVL requires further improvements, for example, more battery power and a warming-up mechanism for the camera system, in order to be suitable in all locations within the hospital and also in prehospital settings.
