The acquisition costs of the entire Lo Pro Adult GlideScope Video Laryngoscope (LGVL) system and the replacement costs of the LGVL blade (with the video camera) used in this clinical investigation are about 6000 and 1935 Euro (exclusive value-added taxes, according to the offer of the Austrian distributor, queried in December 2005), respectively; the costs of the Schroeder directional tracheal tube stylet are about 7 Euro.
